Congratulations William Henzell!

He has won his 5th Australian Open Mens Singles Title 4-1 defeating fellow Aussie TT Sponsored Justin Han 11-4,11-9, 5-11,11-8, 11-4 in the Final.

William also won the Mixed Doubles (with Miao Miao) and Mens Open Doubles (with Robert Frank).

Saturday the 26th of June may be the day the records are broken in the great sport of table tennis. No other Australian-born male player in the history of our sport has ever won the Australian Open singles title 5 times.

The opposition is tough for William to achieve this watershed. 3 out of the 4 finalists are Aussie Table Tennis sponsored players; William Henzell, Justin Han and Trent Carter.

Both Justin and William's semi final opponents, Oh Nam Ho and Trent Carter respectively, are playing very well so William and Justin as the top seeds will be taking nothing for granted.

In the womens draw, only one Aussie woman (Miao Miao) is left with 3 Koreans making up the other finalists.
