The new Ebenholz V is a five-ply blade that harkens back to the old STIGA blades in terms of styling. It's made from the Nordic forest ebenholz wood and has NCT treatment on it for added speed with no extra blade weight.

I started with an Ebenholz VII but it was too fast for me. Although these Ebenholz blades are expensive, I find the Ebenholz V has good power and control. It feels like the ball hangs on the blade for a good time but its not a slow blade.
